Eve Arnold: A Pioneering Photographer

1.0 Eve Arnold

Eve Arnold took photography as a profession from 1946. She worked in a photography plant in New York. Born in Philadelphia and had parent's immigrants from Russia. She was an American born photographer and in her life. She completed her social research in New York. She began her profession from Magnum in 1951 and became the complete member in 1957. She lived in the UK for the rest of her life. Her first solo exhibition was in China for the first time and showed her photographs in Brooklyn Museum in 1980 (Lowe, P., 2017). She received a national book award from China and a lifetime achievement award when she was in America. A world’s most prestigious honour was received by her from the year 1995. She also received a prestigious award of Krazna Krausz book. An honory degree was received by her from St Andrews University. She also received award on Order of British Empire which is situated in UK. She got her twelve books published. She passed away in January 2012. Her last book was Eve Arnold people and was written in UK (Xepoleas, 2018). Her first award was achievement in 1980 and the final award of 2003. She was highly interested in art and design.

2.0 Cecil Beaton

Cecil Beaton was involved in black and white photography. He was born in the UK in 1904 and three of academic awards were won by him in during his photography. One of the famous from those three awards is 'My Fair Lady' which was introduced in 1964. He was a British photographer and was highly interested in the imaginative sets and cinematic photography that he had taken. After completing the degree he joined into photography and started thorough the studio of Paul Tanqueray. Several of publications were demanding Beaton for their photography. Portraiture was the style of photography followed by Cecil Beaton. Many times the background of the art and the patterns were decorated by the foils. He was said to be a prominent inventor in the photography and became the photography journalist there. He published six volumes of books for himself in this era of photography (Bair, 2018). His eyes and ambition helped him gaining a good name in the photography fields. Beaton's one of the photographic talents could be seen from his artistic talent of World War 2. A proper demonstration of the lives of people at that time helped Beaton to grow and come above everyone in this photographic aspect.

3.0 David Bailey

David Bailey was a British photographer born in 1938, started his career as a photographer from 1959. His photography was famous for simple and direct clicks that show the person's beauty. In his career, David Bailey has shot everyone from Indian sadhu's to 88th birthday of queen of England. When he started his career in photography he was inspired by Henri Cartier Bresson, and his icon work includes “fashion, music, film, and art”. He started as an assistant photographer at John French Studios and then he managed to get the contract from "Births Vogue magazine" which was one of the big opportunities in his career that helped to shape his career (Brown, E.H., 2017). David has not only shot models but also muses; he soon became one of the first and best British photographers who gathered the reputation equal to models, and icons he photographed. His work mainly involves the "black and white portraits and coloured portraits". Bailey was famous for his style that helped with the breakdown of class barriers and race barriers by giving aesthetic and equalizing photography. Bailey was one of the first person ever who started contemporary photography and became is the style of art in the field of photography (Miles, M. and Warren, 2017). He has won three awards for his brilliant work of art in 2001, 2005 and latest in 2016.

4.0 Brian Duffy

Brian Duffy was born in 1933 and earned a good name in the photographic term in the 60s and 70s. Good support for his family was provided with the help of this photographic field. Completing an artistic career and apprenticeship in photography helped him a lot in gaining a good future in photography. Vogue studios were the first one to help him in this photographic field. Models and artist were there to help her in this artistic future. A revolution in the photographic industry could be brought by the help of this photographer only. Duffy also worked under contract and worked hard for gaining a good name in the artistic future. During her move to Elle, she had made a good name in the artistic field and during the 70s her work was appreciated by many of the industry (Duffy, 2020). Her career was started by the photographer artist and swinging sixties were one of the famous arts that she did. Documentary style of fashion photography was the real fashion of Brian Duffy. Fashion portraiture was one of the famous styles of photography initiated by him. Film production and theatre were also a part of her life. Finally, she died in 2010 in London.

5.0 Julia Margret Cameron

Julia Margret Cameron was considered as greatest photographers in the UK. She was a good artist in portrait photography. Fine photography was initiated by her in her early life. A non-commercial art was initiated by her from her early eleventh and continued until lifelong. Her photography style generally shows the unique spiritual and sensible kind of artistic part. In her very short career, she shoots around 900 photographs. Modern and contemporary art was initiated by Julia here. She was highly interested in this kind of photographic styles. The portrait of 'Annie Wilhelmina' was the first artistic achievement of Julia Margret Cameron in her career of photography (Wu, 2018). Then the second portrait was The Madonna Penserosa which was initiated in 1936 and the third portrait was of Sappho which was of a great Greek poet. Cameron had a focus on experiments and to achieve expensive photographs that can excite people to buy. A controversy was still there for these kinds of photograph and art but still was accepted by the people. Photography was a challenging part for her as she was a newcomer in it and inn 2013 she was awarded for the Getty images she did.

6.0 Jessica Hossman

She is based on creating multiple image photography that is involved in creating good chaos among the viewers available. The surrounding and the state of mind are arranged and seen to be blend in her photography. A complete series are available to be seen in her photography. But the image formed is not based on the film loads available. Quite complex and innovative photography can be seen to be introduced by his paintings. The chaos is generally seen in his paintings that depict the reality and the people available. A 3D exposure on films can be seen easily by the portrait and the architecture here. 7.0 Mario Testino

Mario Testino is a famous American photographer widely popular for his fashion and portrait photography which is published internationally. He was born in 1954 in Lima, and then in 1976, he shifted from Peru to London. He was influenced by the "world of fashion and Hollywood" so he started his internship at the studio after coming to London and that was the starting period of his career. The first internship at "the studios of John Vickers and Paul Nugent" was his first photography documented. He was great in his artwork so he was soon recognizable. The first shoot of Mario Testino was done with British Vogue for a girl's haircut and from then the partnership and contract were started as well as his career (Scott, 2019). He is famously known for his different style of work that intends to capture the subject that he sees or wants to see in the moment of engagement. He has provided different types of work such as "Contemporary Latin American art, fashion photography, and contemporary portrait photography. Testino's photography work describes life and personality while her shooting. One of his career's most famous works was the photography of princesses Diana, which was taken a few months before her death in 1997. He was awarded by the "Daily's Fashion Awards" in 2016.

8.0 Rankin

Rankin photography is one of the renowned fashion statement in Europe. He is the most sought after celebrity photographer in the present entertainment industry in England. John Rankin is such a person who is a person from the fashion industry does not feel that making money can be the only way to gain from the industry. He makes use of shadow photography which has acquired much rapport and popularity among the photo critiques. Instead, he has always used his social media skill to show the inner beauty of a photograph. John Rankin Waddell not only is linked to fashion but is also a renowned portrait maker. His shoots photos are among the most appraised and featured worldwide (Nordjord, H.O., 2016). Aiming all his subjects of photographs and sketching women empowerment has always attracted people's attention. Most importantly when Rankin was asked about his favourite subject of photography the answer was his wife, who is a famous model Tuuli Shipster. Rankin started his photography at the age of 21 and took it as a career option with utmost sincerity. He feels the effect of camera profiling like taking drugs. Today he employees more than 60 employees in his office to cater to more extensive research-based work on photography and creative art.

9.0 Nick Knight

Nick Knight can be said to be a new trendsetter in the field of photography. An innovation and alignment in his documentary can be seen easily in his architecture. He is a renowned documentary photographer and a photographer for fashion shows. His focus can be seen easily in his images that are towards bringing all the images into a single aspect. He is an inspiration in the photography fields. The availability of tools and new techniques helped him to gain a good competence in the architectural field. He took a study of art and design from the college of Bournemouth. Several magazines are having the architecture part of him (Dominici, S., 2018). The fashion medium also helps him in gaining a good name and fame in the photography field.

10.0 Annie Leobivitz

Annie Leobivitz was born in 1949 in the US. She was involved in the photography of the artist and actors. She took a class in photography and was initiated from her childhood to become an artist. She received American society of award in 1983 for her photography. In 2011 she was involved in the photography of seven female's athletes. Her style of photography was highlighted by the help of vivid colour and superb lighting. Her portrait was also installed in the national portrait gallery for the exhibition. Her portrait for the 1996 exhibition brought her a good name and fame in photography. Her photographs also brought a good name and fame and a good connection with the people available (Kim, 2016). 12.0 Danielle Tunstall

Danielle Tunstall was focused on horror photography and was a full-time photographer from the UK. Graffiti artist and photographers helped and encouraged Danielle. Quality and the originality in her photography was an important part of her photography which helped her to grow in this photographic field. Unique creativity and artistic style can be easily seen in her photographic style. Complex and distinctive photography can be seen by her photography. She is one o the best self-taught photographers that earned a name in a short time in the photographic field. She was a creative photographer since her birth. The photography work of Bernard Hiller is very popular among Hollywood, as the contemporary technique of photography is very unique. In his, work Hiller shows the inner beauty and eliminates them with different colour by using black and white portrait.

3.0 Julia Anna Gospodarou

Julia Anna Gospodarou was one of the international photographers to win the awards. He was claimed as a fine art photographer. He was said to be a good educator for the workshop and the lecture presented by the photographic world. A good idea of art can be described by the help of his photography and artistic designs (Olesen, T., 2019). Black and white art was demonstrated by him easily. A successful photographer and multi-award winner in the black and white photographic world and sought to be a great educator in photography. 8.0 Robert Frank

Robert Frank was one of the famous black and white photographers born in 1924 in the US. He studied photography in the year 1941 and spent his later six years in working as a commercial photographer.
