1.0 Eve Arnold

Eve Arnold took photography as a profession from 1946. She worked in a photography plant in New York. Born in Philadelphia and had parent's immigrants from Russia. She was an American born photographer and in her life. She completed her social research in New York. She began her profession from Magnum in 1951 and became the complete member in 1957. She lived in the UK for the rest of her life. Her first solo exhibition was in China for the first time and showed her photographs in Brooklyn Museum in 1980 (Lowe, P., 2017). She received a national book award from China and a lifetime achievement award when she was in America. A world’s most prestigious honour was received by her from the year 1995. She also received a prestigious award of Krazna Krausz book. An honory degree was received by her from St Andrews University. She also received award on Order of British Empire which is situated in UK. She got her twelve books published. She passed away in January 2012. Her last book was Eve Arnold people and was written in UK (Xepoleas, 2018). Her first award was achievement in 1980 and the final award of 2003. She was highly interested in art and design.
