I strive to achieve meritorious standard of work by getting a suitable job as per my profile. I am a quick learner and have strong working ethics while working with others at the organisation. The major career goals are such as,

To get the position of customer relationship manager

To improve experience and satisfaction of the customers by delivering quality service

To provide complete assistance continuously to all the customers by multitasking and service excellence

These are the major tree objective, which I require to achieve in order to ensure future success in my professionals career. I have completed Diploma in Pearson BTEC level 3 with 9 credits and I have knowledge in management and business strategic planning. I have gathered experience in customers service management, where I try o handle the customers and support them continuously by serving them properly with my proficiency and skill as well as spend most of the time on check out and support the customers to resolve their queries. I also ensure them to make effective purchase decisions as per their needs and preferences. Hereby, I aim to achieve the above mentioned career goals in order to achieve success in near future.

Personal SWOT

Personal SWOT analysis is effective to identify own strength and weaknesses as well as explore the market opportunities and threats in near future (Agafonova, Bryukhova and Kaigorodov, 2015). In this study, it helps me to assess my strength and weaknesses as well as acknowledge the opportunities and threats in future so that I can create effective personal and professional’s development plan to improve my professionalism and skill.

In this regard, the questionnaires and feedback will be evaluated further through which it is possible to conduct personal SWOT.

Question 1: Do you satisfy with my service?

All the 5 people in the store said that, they are satisfied with the service of mine and it indicates that they can fulfil their needs and aspirations at the store, were my service will be helpful for them to make effective purchase decision.

Question 2: What is the rating; you want to give me as per my service delivery?

3 customers provided 8 ratings out of 10, and they said that, they are happy with the service provided by me. However, there are 2 customers who provided 5 ratings as they thought that, I did not communicate them properly.

Question 3: Should I efficient to interact with you?

3 customers said that I was interactive and I tried hard to communicate with them, but there are 2 customers who did not satisfied with my service, as they told that I was not interactive.

Question 4: Do you resolve your queries by my service and answers?

4 customers said that they were happy about my service and they were successful in resolving their queries by the service, provided by me. However, there was 1 customer who was not happy with my service.

Question 5: Should I cooperative in delivering service?

3 customers said that I was cooperative, but 2 customers were not happy and they said that I was not collaborative at the store to give them proper services.

As per the above discussion, it can be stated that my strengths are such as organised, having IT skill, managing the customers well at the workplace, polite and friendly behaviour with the customers and balancing the demand and supply of the products at the store. The weaknesses are such as lack o communication and interacting though I used to have friendly relationship with the customers, but there lacks formal interaction with the customers. Additionally, there is lack of leadership skill and emotional intelligence for which there are some customers who are not happy with my service as I fail to develop good decision for them to resolve their queries. The opportunities are such as good platform in customer’s service, becoming customer relationship manager, retaining more customers, contributing positively in strengthening the customer’s base of the business and enhancing business profitability and sales volume. The future threats are not having a good team leader, presence of skilled workforce and employees with better knowledge in the organisation.

Options for progression

As per the above SWOT analysis, I come to know that, I lack to have proper communication and interactive skill as well as poor leadership and lack of emotional intelligence skill. It is necessary to bridge the knowledge and skill gap so that I can fulfil the above mentioned career goal. There are the opportunities to become a good and experienced staff in the customer’s service management where my aim of becoming a customer relationship manager can be fulfilled through personal and professional’s development. It is my responsibility to improve my knowledge and understanding to acknowledge the actual needs and preferences of the customers and develops proper relationship with all the customers. I need to engage with current network of the organisation and seek help and support from my senior team members for improving my knowledge and capabilities to handle the customer queries and give them the excellent services as per their expectations.

In addition to these, through enhancing my skill and abilities to interact and build strong relationship with the customers, I can mitigate the threats of having skilled workforce and lack of cooperation from the team leader, where I would be capable of managing the customers alone with my skill and expertise. In addition to these, I need to improve emotional intelligence skill to handle the customers where I will recent the customers and behave politely as well as positive attitude of myself and active listening of the perspective of the customers would be helpful for me to provide better services as per their aspirations. Additionally, I will try to maintain transparency and accountability at the store and manage all the customers fairly which will be helpful to improve trust and loyalty among the customers. In addition to these, I try to develop my leadership skill, for making decisions for the customers so that they can resolve their queries and make effective purchase decision successfully. In this regard, the problem solving and decisions making skill of me would be relevant to resolve my weaknesses and strengthen my position in the organisation, where I can prove the best possible service to all the customers.

Developing the leadership skill as well as enhancing emotional intelligence is helpful for me to improve interpersonal skill and understanding among the customers (Ruddy, Thomas-Hemak and Meade, 2016; Olsen, 2015). In this case, I can cooperate and communicate with all the customers efficiently to support them continuously and resolve their queries successfully. Moreover, in order to grab the opportunity of having strong customers case, I need to improve my communication skill so that I can interact with all the customers and develop formal communication with them. This in turn helps me to develop strong corporate relationship and improve bonding with the customers which in turn helps me to improve customer’s relationship management service that would be beneficial for me to achieve future career goal. Additionally, it would be possible for me to improve cooperation with the team members by improving my emotional intelligence skill and collaborative working practice so that I can seek help from other colleague and serve the customers in a better and unique way.
