The Role Of Dubai's Rulers In Its Development And Prosperity

Introduction

Dubai is a famous city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates and the place is known for luxury shopping (Gulf news, 2017). There is great role of the rulers in Dubai in successful establishment of the modern Dubai, where in the recent era of globalisation, the city is known for transaction port, international trade affairs, architectural development and economic growth (National Archives, 2018). The study is helpful for understanding the present situation at Dubai and continuous growth of the city in the world economy, where the Dubai’s rulers are playing an important role to establish the city efficiently with economic growth and development and ensure prosperity. z

Growth and development in Dubai

During 1970s, Dubai continued to grow from revenues, generated from trade and oil where the rulers are efficient to make the city efficient in terms of international trade and oil exposure (Brook, 2013). Though during 1990 due to Gulf War there was economic downturn in the city and it hampers the financial position where the inventors and depositors withdrew the money and traders, the city has been recovered subsequently in a changing political climate where there is crucial role of the rulers, who are efficient in ruling the country for better development and prosperity (Gulf news, 2017). Sheikh Saeed's House, which is a museum now, which is located at Al Shindagha area ad there are global and international ports which are effective to connect the world (Gulf news, 2017). The international transactions and commodity transfer are increasing at a rapid rate due to sustainable growth in the international trade and business where the foreign investment is also increasing in the country. Dubai has become a world’s great trade centre where there are huge amount of transactions of goods and services as well as there is high migrants of labour which further enhance the business activities (Brook, 2013).

Additionally, the country is known for the airports including Dubai international airport and Jebel Ali port, where there is huge numbers of international passengers. The country is also known for oil and gas which generates profitability and revenue in the country and thus there is high contribution of the oil industry on enhancing the National Income (NI) of the country (Teller Report, 2019). After oil reserves, the country is known for the best destination for the tourists where the major attractions are such as Burj Khalifa, Burj al Arab, palm Jumeirah, palm the world and Dubai snow park. Burj Khalifa is known as skyscraper of Dubai, which is one of the major attraction in the city and it is effective to attract the tourists in the country (Gulf news, 2019). Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is also another attractive destination which offers finest service and experiences with private beach and top class butler services (Gulf news, 2015).

The Dubai rulers are also efficient to improve the infrastructure of the country where Palm Jumeirah is a tree shaped island known for posh apartment towers, glitzy hotels and up market global restaurants. The services and the place infrastructure are attractive to retain the tourists and represent Dubai in the international economy (Teller Report, 2019). The Palm Island is also famous which is designed as the universe archipelagos and thus the rulers in the country are effective to invest on infrastructural development and it becomes a famous hospitality industry and known for attractive and luxury destination (Gulf news, 2015). Hereby, apart from the business and commerce, the country is also developed in terms of entertainment and hospitality, where the rulers try to represent Dubai as a famous luxury destination in the world economy (Teller Report, 2019).

Conclusion

Dubai is famous for its business and commerce and also for the infrastructural and architectural development where the rulers rule the country efficiently and invest for sustainable economic development, social growth and prosperity. The country is known for attractive destination such as Burj Khalifa, Burj al Arab, palm Jumeirah, palm the world and Dubai Snow Park. On the other hand, it is also attractive destination for oil explores and business and additionally the country is known for international trade centre, where the international trade activities and transaction of the goods and services is increasing at a rapid rate year by year. Hereby, in the recent era of globalisation, the rulers of Dubai rule the country efficiently for enhancing prosperity and invest on architectural development to establish the country efficiently and represent it as an attractive luxury destination as well as international trade centre in the world economy.
