PhD Admission Statement

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I am applying for admission to Texas Tech University's Ph.D. program in Management. I want to work in management research and education. I am particularly interested in Leadership and Employee Learning and how they relate to organizational sustainability performance. To understand these topics, I must first have a solid foundation in Management. I believe that the Ph.D. Management would be quite beneficial in assisting me in achieving my career objectives, including receiving expert PhD dissertation help. It would allow me to focus my quantitative and conceptual skills towards understanding organizational and business difficulties and open up new research avenues. Furthermore, I am interested in Ph.D. because I am passionate about research and want to follow a job that would allow me to create and disseminate knowledge in this subject. Though I began my undergraduate research experience in Management Studies, the opportunity to study courses such as Management and entrepreneurship helped me reassess the sector to which I would like to contribute in the future. The experience of the Master's dissertation and other modules in my Master's studies influenced my decision to pursue doctoral studies in Management.

Besides, I received a Distinction in my MSc Management and International Business from Birmingham City University in the United Kingdom. This topic of study has provided me with extensive knowledge of international business procedures and a nuanced grasp of the forces that drive international affairs and global business. Furthermore, I have been molded into a superb analytical thinker and decision-maker. Similarly, I earned an MBA (HRM) from the University of Dhaka, where I studied Business and Financial Environment, Leadership, and Professional Development, making me the most qualified candidate to pursue a Ph.D. in Management. Aside from course modules, my Master's degree provided me with considerable research skills that I believe will be valuable in my current study path. In addition, I earned a BBA (Management Studies) from the University of Dhaka. My undergraduate education provided me with abilities and helped me recognize my areas of interest and my academic strengths and weaknesses. This made me realize that while management courses appeal to me, my core skill is in applied business management and administration. Therefore I have opted to seek my Ph.D. from your respected institution.

My motivation for pursuing this Ph.D. program stems from a deep and persistent desire to study. I believe that education is about growing knowledge and skills, improving mental and intellectual potential, and connecting with others, rather than about competitiveness and reaching the top. Furthermore, I am eager to broaden the knowledge and research methods that I gained during my MBA and continue my lifelong learning career. I hope to use my new research methodologies skills to publish influential papers in my field. Similarly, the Ph.D. in management program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel academically and professionally. This program's goals are to produce graduates with strong administrative skills who will work as academics or researchers. This program strives to produce graduates who can apply scientific methods to identify issues, provide answers, work in groups, and write reports. It also prepares graduates for jobs that need leadership, teamwork, decision-making, critical and analytical thinking, and project management. Taking this course would assist me in furthering my Management and professional development. There would be a genuine possibility for me to become a consultant with leadership qualities and become a member of the worldwide scholarly community. As a result, I regard Doctorate as a long-term personal goal. It will assist me in critically evaluating and improving my professional knowledge and contributing to my general personal development. I want to improve my capacity to create and explain an original notion, as well as my writing and analytical skills, and to become an expert in the field I have selected.

My goal is to be a highly respected member of my field's organizations and communities by the time I complete the Doctorate program. My goal is to think creatively and articulately about the topic matter in a professional and academic setting. As a result, I chose this university because I believe it is ideal for my professional aspirations. Because it will provide me with the skills and information to critically assess and improve my professional practice, I feel a Doctorate from your university will help me get there. Aside from that, I believe that your institution provides the ideal reciprocal environment to develop and broaden my research approaches. I plan to build on the current research, working with my supervisor to access the department's expertise and obtain new insights.

As a driven, well-organized, devoted, and experienced academician and administrator with more than 11 years' worth of work experience, I believe I am the best choice to pursue this field of study further. My professional and academic experiences have molded me into a positive, proactive, and results-oriented individual with the capacity to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while still managing to fulfill deadlines. Furthermore, I can work well in a group or on my own to make major contributions to an organization. In addition, I have strong communication and research abilities and proficiency in information technology, making me an excellent candidate for your Ph.D. in management program. Aside from that, I've grown to be an organized, punctual, and professional person who can get the job done.

Over the years, I have been a successful student in research which motivates me to pursue further research studies. In my masters' studies, I studied "Perceived Service Quality and Expectation of International Postgraduate Taught Students of Birmingham City Business School, UK." Besides, I have several publications published in various journals like "Safety & Security Concern of Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector of Bangladesh," published in the Indian Journal of Management and Indian Business Studies. Another publication is "Impact of Stress on Sales Employees Job Performance: A Descriptive Study on Real Estate Sector of Bangladesh," published in the Bangladesh Journal of MIS. I also studied "Factors affecting Job Stress: A Study on Call Centers in Bangladesh," a study which is published in the International Journal of Management Sciences. Another study that I have participated in is "An Investigative Study on Factors Causing Job Choice of Business School Students in Private Universities of Bangladesh, " published in the International Journal of Engineering, Business and Enterprise Applications. For my Ph.D. studies, I need to research "Leadership & Employee Learning and their relation to organizational sustainability performance: A comparative analysis on hospitality sector of USA and Bangladesh." In this topic, I need to develop knowledge on how Leaders can motivate employees and solve organizational problems. I am therefore optimistic that I will be prepared well for the current job and research roles.
