Striving for Excellence: A Personal Statement for MSc Management

Currently, there is an increasing growth in the world’s organizational concepts which requires to be more effective and efficient. Moreover, new technology involving automation and networking influences business behavior, therefore, there is need to maximize effectiveness and efficiency in a competitive world. My fascination to study MSC. Management developed due to my family's natural aptitude for trading and business. Besides, the way business, directly and indirectly, affect the lives of so many people excites me the most. Therefore, guided by my fascination and academic qualifications I am applying for a master's in management at your reputable institution.

This MSc Management is a course that is meant to provide students with the leadership skills needed to progress towards senior leadership positions. Moreover, the course offers students a well-balanced blend of practice and theory which prepares students to work as project managers in the related sectors. Besides, it gives students experience and necessary professional preparation which enables an individual to become a high achiever in the management field. However, I believe that this course requires an individual who is professionally and academically qualified. Looking at my academic qualification, I am a third-year student at Westminster University, London- perusing BA Honors degree in Tourism & Business where I excelled extremely well during my first, 2nd year and third year. From the course, I have learned managing people, marketing, strategic planning, team leadership, time management among other skills which make me the most qualified candidate to pursue M.Sc. Management.

Furthermore, looking at my professional experience, I am currently working as a receptionist at Zela London where I am tasked with ensuring a positive atmosphere at all times, provided extensive administration, and among other roles overseeing the roster, and on shift management of the doorman team. This position has improved my management and communication skills which I believe are critical in this field of study. Besides, I worked as a guest relations assistant at Curzon Cinema where I was tasked with Management of the cinema's social media channels, marketing, and participating in a team to ensure that all front of the house adheres to company standards. Other position which I have held over the past years and which I believe played a major role in the development of my skills and which makes me the most suitable candidate to study management course includes; receptionist/ admin position at Sexy Fish, Berkeley Square House, waitress position at The Ivy Chelsea Garden, floor supervisor position at Cocorico, Calle Travieso and Sale Assistant position at Primadonna Collection.

Looking at my personality, I am self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, and a positive individual who always strives to be the best. Additionally, I have excellent commercial skills and an understanding of how businesses operate. Nevertheless, I strongly consider myself a flexible individual with the core skills required to thrive in today's management environment. Also, I am multilingual with the ability to speak fluently in Italian, English, and Spanish. Furthermore, I am a versatile and proactive person possessing a positive attitude toward learning.

However, I understand that this course is demanding, though I am fully committed to work hard since I have chosen the university that will help me to be at my very best. Additionally, I understand that this institution equips learners with empirical evidence and theoretical tools necessary for understanding management. Furthermore, it enhances multidisciplinary exploration, which makes me believe that I will be learning at the best university, which will prepare me for the modern job market. Therefore, it is my hope for being a part of your renowned and reputable institution. Lastly, offered a chance, it will be my pleasure to participate in your organization football and arts club.
