The article Chile protests: Anti-government activities rally around student blinded by rubber bullets in Independent is effective to understand the human rights abuse in Chile. The report helps to understand the practice of Chile president Sebastian Pinera’s government where the government rallied around a student, who was suffered by police rubber bullets. The family of the victim thought that, the pictures of his injuries may increase the international pressure and the administrative concern regarding the incident. Gustavo Gatica was taking pictures of the protest by the students and he was busy in capturing the moments born on placards and scrawled on wall around the city. There was hit by the police and it raise concern about the human rights abuse in Chile. There are human rights abuses in the country where there were at least 26 people dead and 13000 injured according to the human rights organisations. Additionally, according to the Chile’s Institute for the Human Rights, it has been estimated that, there were 241 Chileans, who were suffered from eye injury during the protest. It is the rights of the people in the country to conduct protest over the public issues, where the police force cannot enter into the protest and hurt the public. According to the report, Mr. Gatica’s eyes were injured, which is painful incident for the public (Independent, 2019). After such incident, the police force of Chile have suspended to use the rubber bullets, where there were many public in the country who were injured seriously and they lost their eyes.

After such incident, the authorities try to maintain effective control over the security forces, where the security forces occasionally committed human rights abuse in the country and this is the result of such human rights abuse. the police force commented that they will not use the rubber bullet further in future and the authority have established better protection of the human rights in Chile, so that the public can be protected under the jurisdiction and authority. As per the news, it is very painful and violation of the police protocols which affect the public. The expectation of the public in the country has also hampered due to such incident of using rubber bullets for the students, who were engaged in protesting against some public issues. There is violation of the human rights in the country and the government of Chile needs to take corrective measures in restructuring the protocols of the police so that proper cooperation and collaboration between the public and the government authority can be built successfully in near future. The public in Chile was engaged in protesting on some public issues, but the police force was engaged in creating rally around the students and use rubber bullets which results eye damage and death in the country (Independent, 2019). This is related to violation of the human rights as well as social inequality, where the government should take corrective actions for implementing the Human Rights activities in the country and protect the public through cooperation and collaboration.

The article in Guardian is related to the UK failing on many human rights measures, where the report claim is effective to understand the human rights abuse in the UK. The article is helpful to acknowledge the coalition of 175 civil society organisations, who are efficient to raise alarm over prisons, hates crimes, stop and search the powers and threats of the Human Rights. the UK violates the Human Rights law and practice where it fails to tackle prison overcrowding, search at the roads, stop and search the public and tackle the hate crimes activities in the country, for which there is appropriate coalition of the 175 social community organisations, who try to collaborate to take corrective actions and restructure the decision of the authority to prevent prison overcrowding, tackle the hate crime activities and restrict stop and search powers in the UK (The Guardian, 2016). The government of the UK damage the international standard by threatening to scrap the Human Rights Act. The UN’s human rights council tackled the authority and government of the UK to improve their human rights practice and manage the public issues felicity. It has been recorded that, there exists racism in the country for which approximately 82% motivation are recorded for hate crime (The Guardian, 2016). Due to hostile environment and irregular migration with the discrimination against from the minority community are the major reason for such situation, the government of the UK fails to manage the human rights abuse (The Guardian, 2016).

This situation further leads the UK towards isolationism and disregarding the United Nations. The government should take into account about the issue of trafficking and refugee children where it is also necessary to hare the personal information while migration (The Guardian, 2016). It is the responsibility of the government to support coalition and develop suitable environment to stay safely in the country. In this regard, cooperation with UN and the social organisations, it is necessary to tackle the threat of international terrorism, stamping out modern slavery, championing the rights or the children and women which are effective to demolish the human rights abuse in the country. It is important to reduce the practice of stop and search powers where the individuals have the right to protect themselves and avoid such incidents. Moreover, hate crime and crowded prison are other issues, where the government fails to tackle the human rights of the individuals. The major reasons for the issues are high migration and immigration rate in the UK where it is difficult for the government to tackle the crime rate and protect the public of the UK (The Guardian, 2016). It is the major responsibility of the government to support the UN, coordination with the British Institution of Human Rights and respond the coalition to support the human rights activities and manage efficiently to protect the public successfully in the country. Hereby, for protecting public and maximising the Human Rights activities in the country, it is necessary to restructure the regulations and manage the rules in the country so that the individuals can live and maximise their standard of living and human rights.

The BBC news is related to Saudi Arabia ‘falling to address human rights concerns’, where the country fails to act on recommendations by a UN body to improve the policies and practice in the country and tackle the issue of human rights abuse in Saudi Arabia. The authorities in Saudi Arabia fail to tackle the issue of arbitrary arrests, detention, unfair trails and torture as well as other ill treatment which are increasing year to year. The Human Rights Council also stated that, the country fails to manage the human rights and implement the rule and practice to protect and maximise the rights of the individuals (BBC, 2013). The issues such as inciting disorders by calling for demonstrations, seeking to disrupt security, questioning the integrity of the officials and undermining the unity in the country are also increasing day by day, where the government fail to intervene and take corrective actions in the country (BBC, 2013). It has also been documented that there is the serious issue of systematic discrimination of the women in both law and practice as well as abuse of migrant worker in the country and this also violates the human rights and protection of the individuals in Saudi Arabia. The report also accused that, there is Sunni rules kingdom and discrimination against the minority community including Shia in eastern Province, where there were many people who were arrested for taking part in protesting against their individual’s human rights in the country and some of the people have been killed in clashed where there were no such string security forces (BBC, 2013).

Hereby, lack of security and protection of the individuals as well as discrimination for women and against the minority community are the major issues for which the country suffers from human rights abuse. in order to tackle the issue, there is tangible progress in the country were the Human Right Council as well as government authority of Saudi Arabia take active initiatives in the nation in order to reduce discriminatory practice and improve equality by treating all the individuals fairly irrespective of their cultural diversity and differences in language, beliefs and values (BBC, 2013). Saudi Human Rights Commission also stated that, there are more than 10 million foreigners who are working in Saudi Arabia and the authority is successful to give them human protection and security to stay in the country and work under safe workplace as well as the authority is also efficient to develop efficient environment through equality and diversity management that the issue of discriminatory practice can be abolished properly (BBC, 2013). Hereby, the government of Saudi Arabia is successful to take corrective actions with proper cooperation of Saudi Human Rights Commission to tackle the environment of the country and improve equality to treat all the individuals fairly and mitigate the issue of discrimination.

The report of Independent is related to Britain is not consistent in fighting human rights abuses, where the study is effective to discuss the respond of the Britain towards different country’s system to protect human rights of the individuals. The British government is fully adhere to its obligations under the UN convention on Torture, where the government is efficient to develop shelving plan to undertake proper judge led inquiry into the British involvement in the overseas torture and rendition (The Telegraph, 2014). The British government is willing to cooperate with intelligence and security committee for further investigation. In the past years, the British government tries to cooperate with other government authority across the globe and it aims to protect and promote the human rights of the individuals to provide safety and security to the people across the world. The government of Great Britain also tries to improve equal treatment of the people by implementing the Equality Act 2010, which is necessary to protect the people and give them equal and fair treatment (The Telegraph, 2014). The ability of credibility raise human concerned with other government here the British government aims to collaborate and communication with the other government authorities across the globe in order to maximise and implement international human rights. Corporate punishment at school is banned with proper intervention of the government where the children are safe in attending the school and apart from that through managing equality and diversity, the government prefer to treat all the people irrespective of their gender, cast, culture and beliefs so that every individuals can be empowered and maximise their rights (The Telegraph, 2014).

There is other contribution of the British government to mitigate the issue of human rights, where the government is cooperative to provide freedom to the media house to publish the news according to their understanding and apart from that, the government tries to abolish abusive interrogation practice by the British army in Northern Ireland successfully. These practices are effective to abolish the cast system in the UK and improve the practice of fair treatment (The Telegraph, 2014). Initially, there is a serious issue of treating the people fairly as the UK is considered as high immigration country, where there are a huge numbers of population, who are migrated from other international places and it is the responsibility of the government to manage the migrant people and treat them fairly and equally in the UK. Hence, British involvement with the other overseas is effective to mitigate the issue of human right abuse, where the individuals can have the rights to fulfil their basic needs and they people can protest openly in the society. UK government is concerned about international human rights and the countries like Russia, China, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan are also cooperating with each other of maximising the basic human rights of the individuals (The Telegraph, 2014). Additionally there was another issue related to male dominated society, and through taking corrective actions and executing the equality principles, the issue of preferring male over female is also tackled properly, where the UK government aims to treat both male and female members equally and gives equal opportunities to both of them in the country (The Telegraph, 2014). Hereby, diversity management and equality can be managed properly as well as the human rights of being safely and secured, positive interrogative process and uphold freedom for the people are effective for the UK government to cooperate with overseas and maximise basic human rights of the individuals across the world.

The next BBC news report is related to 'Don't beat us, just shoot us': Kashmiris allege violent army crackdown, which is effective to identify and acknowledge the human rights violation in Kashmir. The Indian security forces administered that, Kashmir has been accused to have beating and torture after the government’s decision to strip the region of its autonomy (BBC, 2019). It has been evident that, the villagers are beaten with sticks, electric wares, cable and shocks and the residents in Kashmir are injured during these days. The kashmiris face difficulties to stay in a safe placed due to unrest situation in Kashmir (BBC, 2019). The villagers are not feeling safe and protected in the area and the thee re some villagers who are moved to prisons outside of the state, where the kashmiris are also threatened by the authority and the soldiers. After the introduction of Article 370 and have praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the soldiers warn everyone to stop participating in the protest (BBC, 2019). The human right is violated in this case, where there raise unrest situation in Kashmir and the people cannot take communicate and protest as per their understanding (BBC, 2019).

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) raises similar issues related to human rights in Kashmir, where there are hundreds of alleged cases of human rights violation in Kashmir over the past three decades. The UN commission on Human Rights also called for establishing Commission of Inquiry (COI) to analyse and investigate the allegation of human rights violations in Kashmir. Additionally, the CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police used pellet guns which also violate the human rights of the kashmiris (BBC, 2019). In this situation, the UN commission on Human Rights also stated that using the pellet guns is one of the dangerous weapon used against the protestors. Increased in violent incidents, unrest situations and lack of safety and security in Kashmir violates the human rights of the Kashmir, where the individuals face difficulties to stay in Kashmir. For such use of pellet guns, there are many people, who are injured seriously. It is important to take corrective actions such as tear gas, plastic bullet and water cannon through which it is possible to manage the protestors (BBC, 2019). There is torture and violent in Kashmir which create unrest situation in that region, where the people fail to share their preferences and thought and they are also not able to protest against the policy of the government about the autonomy of Kashmir (BBC, 2019).
