Understanding UK Care Standards

Despite developing the care standard and Codes of conducts in health and social care, there are many reasons that contribute to continuous failures in providing quality care to patients in UK (Rycroft-Malone et al. 2016). The first reason behind the failure is lack of sufficient fund provided to the NHS hospitals by the government which makes the healthcare authority unable to introduce and implement innovative and modern treatment process that are crucial in providing high quality care. The second reason is majority of health and social care staffs are lack of that much skills and expertise that are actually needed to manage the critical health needs to patients. Third reason is insufficient number of healthcare staffs and health professionals as compared to number of patients that leads to over-burden of work on each staff thereby making the standard of care delivery process downgraded (Rycroft-Malone et al. 2016). Fourth reason is lack of implementation of modern technologies in healthcare due to which right healthcare data are not transferred to the right hand on right time, that interferes with the overall success as well as integrity of care delivery process.
