PERSONAL STATEMENT

I believe that having a visual stimulus in your environment is very crucial. Today’s life depends on architectural and engineering innovations to make our lives better and colorful, including architecture dissertation help. I am fascinated by the thrill of solving problems in physics, mathematics, and every day’s life. However, as an environmentalist, I have been concerned with the rapid urbanisation which creates a large strain on architects as well as the environment. While the impacts of climate change are felt, the drive towards more energy-efficient building structures is intensifying hence the need for sustainable technology and sophisticated architectural design procedures. Of late, sustainability and architecture are becoming part of my life. I have been noticing that new buildings and the work of architects usually fascinates me. With this purpose, I was amazed to learn about De Montfort University’s MSc program which would expand my creativity to design structures with least global effects. Therefore, guided by my goals and interest, I wish to apply for a Master's Degree in Energy and Sustainable Building Design at your institution.

At Birmingham Metropolitan College, I pursued H.E. Diploma in Engineering and Technology, where I was introduced to several concepts of engineering and mathematics. Through designing IT software, I gained diversified knowledge of designing aesthetics by developing a colour and shape’s sense. Additionally, I studied BSc Hons in Business Information Technology where I scored 2:1 Honours at the University of Salford. Throughout my studies, I learnt to be enthusiastic, efficient, and reliable with a persistent drive to influence while delivering set targets. Additionally, I am hardworking with an aptitude for success. I believe that my skills and strong qualities make me a qualified candidate for this field of study.

Apart from academics, I have been working as a customer service on part-time basis at TNT Group, Lount LE 65 1PL. In this position, I am entitled to deal directly with customers among other roles, which have enhanced my communication and people’s skills. Additionally, I worked as a temporary screening and vetting administrator at NSL Group OL1 1NY where I was tasked with ensuring that all vetting and clearance procedures were executed as per the requirements of Tesco among other roles. This position has enhanced my management skills as well as creativity, which I believe are important in the energy and sustainable building design course. Lastly, in 2013, I worked as a help desk at UKS Services Manchester, M1 5GD where I learnt teamwork skills among other skills. Moreover, I have learnt presentation skills in addition to being fluent in three languages - English, French, and Spanish. As an I.T software engineer, I have strong command in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Apple Mac computing systems among others, which I believe are important in this field of study.

I understand that this course is demanding, though I am fully committed to work hard since I have chosen the university that will help me to be at my very best. Additionally, I understand that this institution equips learners with empirical evidence and theoretical tools necessary for an understanding of the way new and renewable energy can be harnessed in buildings. Additionally, it enhances multidisciplinary exploration, flexible study options, and excellent graduate career prospects among others, which will prepare me for the modern job market. Lastly, I am willing to contribute positively to your institutions' football club.
