My Reflective Diary

While I started reading all the papers related to my project which is the analysis of data of “properties of the readily releasable pool alone which can be stimulated by 1 mM 4-aminopyridine plus 5 mM Ca2+(4AP5C)”. In this process, I managed to use the keywords and scanner technic. Later in this process, I used the figures and notice from my supervisor to help with writing my experimental plan and Literature Review for my project, focusing on biology dissertation help.

Initially, when I started my research about the topic, I went through various research papers and found deep insights which gave complete analysis about my topic. After obtaining maximum knowledge, I started working on the detailed plan of my research & in this journey; I faced many issues & challenges which I got used to with time & gradually with the help of some seniors and professors & cleared all my confusion. There is no doubt that this research plan was not perfect as I thought but after completion, I made it more clear and comprehensive to avoid any kind of future problems.

I achieved many new skills in this research journey where first of all, I have made an impressive improvement in my research skills which I was completely unaware of about the new and advanced techniques of doing researches previously & it developed skills of planning and proper working without any haphazard & learned being organised during research work. In addition, I have developed general and basic skills of deep knowledge of neuroscience and its basic mechanisms which were quite interesting for me.

At the beginning of this process, I was unable to understand what I’m doing and how should I start this research but I watched Izabel doing a recording related to the experimental plan and Literature Review which gave me a little idea of the work & then I asked my supervisor for meeting and feedback of my experimental plan which helped me to have a better understanding of my research topic.

When I start reading papers in my field, I noticed that I’m spending a lot of time reading papers only and realized that they were not what I’m looking for so I turned to keywords like RRP, RP, KR, and SP which saved my time. Initially, it was quite difficult for me to continue with this topic but I didn’t lose my hope and continued to struggle where I got help from different senior students and my research supervisor also. This increased my confidence and I started taking interest with time got me maximum of understanding. During this journey, I got stuck at various stages due to unsatisfactory results, but I didn’t give up. I have learned and done many new things for this research topic which are different from my other research mates, so I felt little difficulty also. As I have spent lots of time getting through a deep knowledge & understanding related to my topic and these things gave me clear and conceptual advantage throughout my research journey. Lastly, I will say that by adopting this research technique, I have not got confused in my research, and in the future, if I opt for an alternative technique I can perform it with it less difficulty and more information.
