PERSONAL STATEMENT

Marketing is the most influential part of business. Besides, businesses are linked to each part of our lives, and marketing plays a critical role in our daily decisions. However, through understanding as well as developing a good relationship with clients, businesses can be less obtrusive. For this reason, I want to take a more profound interest in marketing. This industry is continuously growing and changing, and this provides considerable potential for personality improvement and future careers. Furthermore, marketing power and ability to identify the customer needs and giving marketable ideas and bargains is what significantly amazes me in this sector. The early interest in business and marketing sectors and a dream of creating my own business were the primary stimulus to relate my early life with marketing. The most significant attraction in marketing started in the first economics classes, which built the foundation of knowledge towards business theory and practices, marketing strategies, and principles. The games of business simulations taught me the basics of the subject, the ability to work on my own, and make quick decisions. Moreover, I have always kept my knowledge up-to-date with the newest market movements through reading journals and magazines such as The Economist, BBC News, and Times several times a week. Therefore, guided by my interest and fascination, I wish to apply for a master's degree in marketing at your institution.

MSc Marketing at your institution is an intellectually challenging program that equips students with modern marketing skills and abilities to solve real problems and make the kind of informed decisions that can transform marketing globally. The course promotes the understanding of the key marketing concepts, tools, techniques in marketing, and consumer markets. Further motivation in this field is promoted by Neil Patel, an author, marketer, and entrepreneur. He was able to start his marketing firm a few years later, after establishing his marketing website at the age of 16 years. Today, he markets for huge organizations like Amazon, NBC, HP, etc. Moreover, Coca-Cola marketing has enabled the company to remain the market leader in the beverage industry for years, and its marketing strategy fascinates me.

However, I have come to realize that MSc marketing requires an individual who is professionally and academically qualified. Looking at my academics, I pursued Marketing, BA Hon from London University of Greenwich, which enhanced my marketing knowledge, creative thinking skills, designing skills, which I believe makes me the best candidate to pursue this course. Additionally, I pursued secondary school education at Lithuania, which enhanced my communication skills, critical thinking skills, management skills, and other essential skills for MSc marketing. To further advance my communication skills, I pursued the Advance Level examination in English and Lithuanian language, which I believe would be critical throughout my career. I also possess a Certificate of IELTS, which makes me the most appropriate candidate to pursue marketing at your institution. With consideration to my professional experience, I am presently working at Hakkasan – Mayfair, 1 Michelin star as a Maître d’. In this position, I am tasked with training and delegating tasks and maintaining and creating new guest databases, among other roles. From this position, I have developed leadership skills and the ability to deal with clients, which is essential to marketing. Also, I have worked as the Head receptionist at Trishna – Marylebone 1 Michelin star. This position equipped me with customer skills, which are essential to understanding buyer needs and the sales process and necessary spreadsheet skills. Furthermore, I worked at Gitane- Fitzrovia, as a supervisor, which advanced my leadership skills, research skills, being persuasive, and other information technology skills. Lastly, while working as a waiter at The Riding House Café – Fitzrovia, I learned customer skills, emotional intelligence, and teamwork skills, which are critical in my future career.

Looking at my traits, I am a proactive, positive as well as results-driven individual who can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work and meeting deadlines. Furthermore, I can work as a team or as independent and also possess excellent communication skills. Besides, I have excellent information technology skills, in addition to being a flexible person and possessing crucial skills needed to thrive in today’s marketing environment. However, I know that MSc marketing is demanding, but I am fully committed to achieving my best since I have chosen the best institution which will assist me in being at my best. Moreover, I understand that this university equips students with theoretical tools and empirical evidence necessary for understanding modern marketing. Furthermore, it promotes multidisciplinary exploration, which motivates me to pursue my studies at your institution. Lastly, offered the opportunity, I would enjoy participating in your organization music club and other curriculum activities.
