Pursuing Business Management Transfer

PERSONAL STATEMENT

Creativity is what drove me to study business management. Currently, there is increased growth in global business concepts and new technology involving networking automation and information which impacts business behaviour and enables important organizational transformation. This is why it is a fascinating and exciting period to be in both economic and commercial world to pursue Business Management. For the past years, I have been working hard to obtain a degree in business management from Northumbria University, Newcastle. Extensive travelling and abroad studies have promoted my awareness, cultural experiences and developed major integration sense within a multicultural society. Therefore, from my experience, while travelling in London, I realised that the city offers the most conducive environment for one to study and develop professionally. Therefore, from my interest to learn in a multicultural environment and fulfil my interests, I wish to apply for transfer to join your institution in my last year of academics.

I am a third-year in my academics and I have come to realise that the application of technology and adaptability are intrinsic to businesses management. Though I have cultivated these principles in addition to research skills, I wish to join your institution to sharpen my information technology skills. Northumbria University is a great university offering world-class curriculum and it is a place everyone would wish to develop his/her skills with professional tutors and a beautiful environment. However, there are several reasons makes me request for a chance to study at your institution. First, during my placement in London, I experienced a good environmental condition which to me seem to be favourable to study in. Secondly, three months ago, my family moved to London to start a new business, therefore, from my wish to help in the management of the business and as well advance my profession, I remained with no option other than moving in with them. Therefore, offered a chance, I believe my academic and professional goals will be accomplished.

Looking at my previous educational background, I pursued a finance course from Northumbria University which taught me financial decision making; Building Business Practice which taught me research skills, Teamwork skills, self-directed learning, communication skills and problem-solving skills. Moreover, I learned Global Business Environment certificate and grade 12 certificate from Schutz American School, Alexandria, Egypt. During my studies, I was privileged to hold various leadership and extra-Curricular Activities such as Vice President of Interact Rotaract Ramleh, Treasurer at Schultz American School, Schultz American School’s Vice President of Class and among others, I became Student’s Council Member between 2014 and 2015. All these leadership roles make me believe I am the fittest candidate to pursue business management.

Nevertheless, I have been privileged to work with Finmar Group| Alexandria, Egypt as an Analyst Intern where I was tasked with performing roles assigned by the manager, communication to clients among other roles. Looking at my interpersonal skills, I possess good communication skills and adaptability and leadership skills which I believe are crucial in this field of study. Nevertheless, I am proficient in economics, finance, marketing, investment, banking, and knowledge in trading as well as good command in Microsoft Office, including Excel Spreadsheet. With all these academic and professional skills, I very much hope that you will look favourably upon my application.
